Service Description
Brackenwood Plant & Garden Centre Pill Road, BS8 3RA 25th and 26th April 2026 Pen and Ink Illustration, with watercolour wash 2 days - £80 Drawing and watercolour experience needed This media is so therapeutic and fairly fast compared to pure watercolour painting. Using Uni-pin fine liners, we will make drawings of plants or nature subjects, learning how to apply texture using dots or lines to create form. Watercolour will be applied as washes of toned colour afterwards to create a beautiful painting. You will be able to make a series of studies on a page or concentrate on one special subject. Bring along some interesting natural history subjects; dried leaves, seed heads, fungi, wood/bark, wood with lichen, pinecones, acorns, walnuts, seaside treasures, bones/skulls etc. You will receive my helpful tuition all through the workshop.

Terms & Conditions JIB workshop bookings Booking policy: Your place is secure once you have paid in full online. Confirmation will be sent via email. Please ensure you fill in all your details when booking a workshop. Cancellation policy: I am unable to offer a refund unless I can rebook your place. In ‘exceptional circumstances’ a refund will be offered, please contact me directly to discuss this. Rules: We are a friendly group and I reserve the right to exclude trouble makers at any workshop. Postponement/Cancellation of workshop policy: If less than 5 students have booked the workshop I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the workshop. If for any reason the workshops needs to be cancelled, I will endeavour to reschedule the course. Should I be unable to reschedule, a refund will be issued to those booked.
